Project Description
Auto Tech
Junior and Senior year students will receive hands on training and theory of brakes, front end repair and alignment, engine repair and performance, scan tool operation, starting and charging systems, tire changing and balancing, cooling system repair, and basic electrical systems.
Most of the hands on training is done on live customer vehicles. All basic maintenance services are covered. We perform auto repair jobs on staff and community vehicles that students can successfully complete with assistance from the instructor.
Automotive Technology is science in motion. If you’re interested in discovering how the world of transportation works, this is the place for you. While our primary focus is the automotive industry, we do exploratory topics in heavy equipment, marine (boating), and Powersports (motorcycles/ATVs). I want our students to understand that the principles taught here can span a number of career options.
